Privacy Policy
What Fisher Computer Solutions LLC collects through this website and when you hire me, who else handles it, and how to see, correct, or delete it.
Effective October 1, 2026
The short version
No ads, no tracking, and I don’t sell your information.
This website has no forms, no accounts, and no advertising. Cloudflare, which hosts it, counts visits without cookies and sets one cookie to keep bots out. When you hire me, I keep what I need to do the work and bill for it, and card payments are handled by Stripe, so I never see your card number.
What this covers
This policy covers this website and the IT, web, and app services I provide. Apps I build and publish have their own privacy policies, linked from each app’s store listing. If you use one of those apps, its own policy is the one that applies to it.
This website
Nothing to sign up for, and no cookies of my own.
The site is a set of plain pages. I don’t add any cookies or tracking code of my own; the only script I wrote is the one that enlarges screenshots on the Work page.
The site is hosted and protected by Cloudflare, and Cloudflare is the only third party that collects information from visitors to it. Like any web host, it receives your IP address, your browser details, and the pages you ask for, so it can deliver the site and block attacks. It also does two things worth knowing about:
- It counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies or local storage and does not fingerprint you. I see totals, such as page views and which sites sent visitors, not individual people.
- Its bot detection sets one cookie,
cf_clearance, which records that your browser passed an automatic check so the site can tell people from bots. It lasts up to a year, is needed to protect the site, and is not used for advertising or to follow you across other websites.
Do Not Track
This site doesn’t track you across other websites or build a profile of you, so it behaves the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. There is nothing for those signals to switch off.
When you email me
If you email me, I keep the conversation — your name, your email address, and whatever you write — so I can reply and keep track of the work.
When you hire me
What I need to do the work and get paid.
For estimates and invoices I keep your name and email address, your phone number and address if you give them to me, and what the work was and what it cost. Invoices are sent, and payments received, through Found, my business banking and invoicing provider, which stores those invoice details.
- Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay
- Processed by Stripe. You enter your details on a payment page run by Stripe, and Apple Pay and Google Pay hand your card to Stripe the same way. I never see or store your full card number.
- Cash App Pay
- Approved in your Cash App and processed by Stripe. I never see your Cash App login or the card linked to it.
- Bank transfer and check
- Handled through Found. Like anyone who receives a payment, I see what comes with it: your name, the amount, and for a check, the check itself. I never see your bank login.
Stripe handles your payment information under its own privacy policy.
Your devices & accounts
When I work on your devices, network, or accounts — including accounts I set up for you — I may be able to see the files and information on them. I only access what the job needs, and I don’t copy or keep your files unless the job requires it, such as moving your data to a new computer.
What I don’t do
- No selling or renting of your personal information, and no sharing of it for advertising.
- No advertising on this site, and no advertising or cross-site tracking code.
- No contact forms, accounts, or newsletters on this site — nothing here asks for your details.
Who else sees it
I share personal information only with the services I need to run the business, and only what each one needs:
- Cloudflare
- Hosts and protects this website, and counts visits to it.
- Found
- My business banking and invoicing provider: invoices, payments, bank transfers, and checks.
- Stripe
- Processes card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Cash App Pay payments.
- My email provider
- Stores the email I send and receive.
Beyond those, I disclose personal information only when the law requires it, when it is needed to protect someone’s safety or investigate fraud, or if the business is transferred, in which case this policy goes with it.
How long I keep it
Invoices and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Emails are kept while they are useful for our work together, or until you ask me to delete them, unless I need them for those records.
Your choices
- 01
Access
Ask for a copy of the personal information I hold about you.
- 02
Correction
Ask me to fix anything that is wrong or out of date.
- 03
Deletion
Ask me to delete it. I delete what I can and tell you what I have to keep for tax or accounting records.
Email me and I will act on your request within 30 days. There is no charge, and I may ask you to confirm it is really you before I do.
Children
My services are for adults and businesses, and this site is not directed to children under 13. I don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If what I collect changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves.
